Ajuar Studio
studio Ajuar is a collaboration between Merceria Clara and Casco. They both work with clothes that have a nostalgic feel to them. These items take you back to the past but are edited in a way that reminds you of the present day. Both have their own vision and technique. Merceria Clara works mainly with sublimation of meaningful images, Casco works with the removal of pigment to create new shapes. These two worlds come together in the interest in youth culture and the old Spanish culture.
At studio Ajuar, each garment is unique and made from recycled materials. Therefore, we kindly ask you to carefully review the photos, sizes, and descriptions before making a purchase.

Merceria Clara
Merceria Clara literally means the loss of innocence, address the idea of longing for youth and the concept of innocence itself. Merceria Clara began to work 6 years ago with their photographic archive of street visuals, Spanish culture and craft. Different images blends into clothes creating weareable pieces. Every item is one of kind, usually a re-worked second hand. The textiles have always a nostalgic feeling that takes you back to the past but edited in a way that also reminds the accurate present day.

Casco
Casco works mostly with denim and organic fabrics. The materials are second hand and re-worked. Creating images on the clothes by removing and modifying already existing colors. The inspiration for the designs come from people and spaces in the old part of the city.
